Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • .NET 10 SDK
  • Access to the private Virtufin registries (Virtufin.* NuGet packages).
  • Python 3 with the virtufin-worker CLI: pip install 'virtufin-dev[workers]' --extra-index-url https://pypi.haenerconsulting.com/api/packages/virtufin/pypi/simple/ (common/AGENTS.md#worker-cli).

Run the tests

dotnet build Virtufin.PortfolioWorkers.slnx
dotnet test Virtufin.PortfolioWorkers.slnx

Deploy a worker

Each worker directory has a config/config.json with its default topics (and secret references); everything else (package, feed URL, mime type) comes from the worker's layout. CI publishes on push to master; from the repo root:

virtufin-worker build <Worker>                  # local build -> build/<Worker>/
virtufin-worker create <Worker> --context demo # deploy the published LIBRARY_VERSION

Venue credentials are worker secrets (WorkManager 0.21+), referenced from the worker's config, never written into config.json.

The other lifecycle commands (virtufin-worker list, start, stop, delete, recover, history, trigger) take --context <name>, an entry in ~/.config/virtufin/api/contexts.toml.
